What is FTP?

FTP lets you upload and manage website files using a desktop client like FileZilla.

Your FTP Credentials

  • Host: yourdomain.com
  • Username: your cPanel username
  • Password: your cPanel password
  • Port: 21

Setup in FileZilla

  • Download FileZilla from filezilla-project.org
  • Open FileZilla and enter Host, Username, Password, Port
  • Click Quickconnect
  • Navigate to /public_html on the server
  • Drag files from your computer to the server panel

    • SFTP (Recommended)

    Use SFTP on port 22 for encrypted transfers - same credentials.
