Accessing File Manager

  • Log in to cPanel
  • Click File Manager
  • Your website files are in /public_html

    • Common Tasks

    Upload a File

    Click Upload in the toolbar, drag and drop files or click Select File.

    Edit a File

    Right-click any file -> Edit or Code Edit.

    Create a Folder

    Click New Folder in the toolbar.

    Delete Files

    Select files, then click Delete.

    Extract a ZIP Archive

    Right-click a .zip file -> Extract.

    Tips

    • Always keep a backup before editing live files
    • Show hidden files via Settings -> Show Hidden Files
    • Your website root is /public_html
